Cyber Risk Management? A Better Bet Is Danger Management
Risk management, a concept that originated in the financial sector, has not proven to be a good fit for cybersecurity, according to John Kindervag, Chief Evangelist at Illumio. He says the problem is that thinking about threats in terms of probability has caused people to accept risks that they shouldn’t. In this video interview, Kindervag explains how thinking in terms of danger management can help agencies bring greater urgency to their cybersecurity efforts.
