In order to implement human-centered design in your agency, you’re going to need a toolbox of methods, techniques, and resources, as well as a process to guide you through using that toolbox. After finishing this module, you’ll be able to:

  1. Identify the typical phases of a Human-Centered Design process.
  2. State the goals of each phase of the Human-Centered Design process.
  3. Recognize real-world applications of each phase of the Human-Centered Design process.
  4. Recognize the value that a persona offers when exploring and empathizing with users.
  5. Indicate the benefits of identifying at least one core design challenge.
  6. Recall the three lenses through which designers should measure the relative value of an idea.
  7. Recall that rapid prototyping, when coupled with testing and evaluation, moves an idea from low-fidelity to high-fidelity over time.
