Frequently Asked Questions
How do I take a course on GovLoop Academy?
You must register with GovLoop Academy in order to enroll and complete courses. You can register by clicking the button in the upper right hand corner of the main webpage. Once you have a username and password, you can login to take individual courses or start a learning path.
To start a course, go to the course page and click “Enroll”. You will then be prompted to start your first lesson.
How do I complete a course?
Under each lesson, interactive, or other course component, there will be a button to “Mark Complete” that step of the course. You must click this button on each course component, in sequential order, to have your course marked complete on your profile.
How do I monitor my progress on a course?
Once you complete an individual lesson and mark it complete, the lesson title will turn grey in the left-hand navigation menu of the course. To get a broader overview of your progress in all courses for which you are enrolled,
Where do I find certificates for course completions?
Once you have completed a course, your course certificate will automatically become available on the course overview page. Additionally, you can find course certificates in your profile by scrolling down and clicking the certificate icon beside each complete course.
How do I acquire a learning badge?
Learning badges are awarded on your GovLoop Academy profile, once you complete all the component courses of a specific learning path. You do not have to complete the courses in a learning path in one setting, or in any particular order.
How do I receive CPE credits for GovLoop Academy courses?
GovLoop Academy is authorized to issue CPE credits for Nano Learning programs of approximately 10 minutes, including time to complete the assessment. Only courses clearly marked with the NASBA logo and instructions for CPE completion are eligible. Please click the help button if you have trouble finding a CPE-certified course.
I can’t see a video or lesson on the webpage of a course. Why is that?
If you are having difficulties playing the video in the lessons, most likely it is due to browser incompatibility. Your workplace or computer may not have the most updated software or browser to play the videos. Try playing the courses on your personal computer instead with the latest Safari or Google Chrome. Our videos are hosted on the Wistia platform. Please refer to this link for further information on video viewing requirements. If, for any reason, you still cannot play the video, please contact our help desk for assistance.
I forgot my username and/or password. What do I do?
You can reset your password by clicking this link. To retrieve your username, click the help button in the bottom right corner of any page on GovLoop Academy. A member of our team will retrieve your login information.
